We are dedicated to collecting, preserving, and telling the story of Blue Ash and its residents, from the first pioneer family that arrived in 1791 to over 12,000 residents who today call Blue Ash home. We offer open houses, private tours, and events at the Historical Hunt House and Museum and Carpenter’s Run Pioneer Cemetery and various other locations.
By joining the Blue Ash Historical Society, you will have the opportunity to assist at these various events by greeting guests at the open houses and cemetery tours, assisting in office functions and projects (organizing and scanning photos, sorting and filing historic documents, etc). No experience necessary, just a desire and interest in learning more about the community in which you live.
Members meet twice a month for two or three hours on Wednesday afternoons, and monthly for members’ meetings on the second Thursday of the month at the Hunt House. Annual dues are only $10.00 per year.
Monetary donations enable us to continue with programs and to upgrade our systems for preserving documents. Donations can be made to the Blue Ash Historic Society, c/o of the Recreation Center, 4433 Cooper Road, Blue Ash, OH 45242.
