The Sycamore Log 1926

This book was donated to the Blue Ash Historical Society in memory of Raymond Nelson Bates by his niece Patricia Rasch Hadden.

About the school as found in the yearbook:

Sycamore High School is comparatively young and comparatively small.  The High School plant (buildings, grounds, and equipment) represents an investment of about $65,000.  There is a campus of about twelve acres.  The building contains nine class-rooms,  one office, a rest-room, a garage and a spacious auditorium with a large stage and two dressing rooms.  The basketball court equals any in Hamilton (outside of Cincinnati) County and exceeds most on space for playing and comfortable seating for spectators.  A room is devoted to cooking and is equipped with modern equipment.  A room is equipped for sewing.  Both the cooking room and the science laboratory are supplied with gasoline gas for heating purposes.  Manual arts equipment has also been provided.
